Job Description
As a Graduate / Junior Engineer, you will support the engineering team by performing specific and limited portions of broader assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers. This role provides hands-on exposure across various engineering disciplines and an opportunity to develop strong technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform specific and well‑defined tasks as part of larger engineering assignments under moderate supervision.
- Gather, analyze, and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures and tools.
- Execute routine or detailed engineering tasks, including calculations, modeling, and simple testing activities.
- Propose approaches for solving new or unfamiliar technical problems using sound engineering judgement.
- Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies in data, calculations, and outcomes and escalate as appropriate.
- Deliver work in accordance with agreed‑upon budget, scope, and schedule.
- Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical) to support integrated design solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of design reports, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Stay informed on advancements in engineering technologies, tools, and industry best practices relevant to your discipline.
- Apply engineering software and digital tools to support design and analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Geotechnical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5 or above.
- Knowledge and hands‑on experience with engineering design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, and discipline‑specific tools (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, PLAXIS, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Revit, or electrical design software).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt to multidisciplinary project requirements.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, innovate, and contribute to continuous improvement.
