Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Senior Site Engineer – Airport Utility Buildings for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. The Senior Site Engineer – Airport Utility Buildings will be responsible for supervising and managing on-site construction activities related to airport utility infrastructure such as central utility plants, electrical substations, HVAC plants, water treatment facilities, pump houses, STPs, and other critical operational utility buildings.
The role involves ensuring that all construction works are executed in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Site Engineer will coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and utility system teams to ensure timely execution, quality compliance, and smooth integration of utility infrastructure supporting airport operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day construction activities for airport utility buildings and associated infrastructure.
Ensure execution of civil and structural works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure efficient site operations and timely resolution of technical issues.
Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and airport infrastructure requirements.
Review and verify construction drawings, method statements, and material specifications prior to execution.
Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices at the project site.
Maintain site records including progress reports, inspection logs, material approvals, and quality documentation.
Verify measurements, review contractor work quantities, and support billing and cost monitoring activities.
Coordinate with MEP and utility system teams to ensure proper integration of civil works with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of completed utility buildings and facilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in site supervision and execution of infrastructure or utility building projects.
Experience in construction of utility buildings such as substations, central utility plants, water treatment facilities, pump houses, or similar infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control processes, and site management practices.
Familiarity with construction drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
Understanding of safety regulations, construction codes, and applicable industry standards.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic project reporting tools
