Job Description
We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems that drive our organization's success. - Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment using CAD software and digital design workflows, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian engineering standards and local building codes
- Conduct detailed technical analysis and modeling of mechanical systems to optimize performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, specifications, and engineering reports for project stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, civil, and systems engineers to integrate mechanical solutions into larger project frameworks
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and quality standards
- Select, specify, and evaluate mechanical equipment and components based on project requirements and performance criteria
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and written documentation
- Support the development and implementation of innovative mechanical solutions that enhance organizational capabilities
- Ensure all designs and deliverables adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge with team members in a supportive, inclusive environment
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional qualification (EIT acceptable with commitment to PE certification)
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design and project delivery
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, or equivalent) and digital design workflows
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC design, thermal management, and equipment specifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and support a culture of inclusivity
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Advanced degree (Master's) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of mechanical systems optimization and energy efficiency
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East or similar regulatory environments
- Proficiency with additional design software or simulation tools
- Demonstrated track record of professional development and continuous learning
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to technical training initiatives
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and integrated design processes
