Our Belfast office is seeking an Electrical Building Services Engineer to deliver detailed electrical building services designs and drawings across a diverse portfolio of new-build and refurbishment projects. These include lighting, general power, switchgear, IT systems, schematics, schedules, calculations, floor plans, and associated specifications.

We continue to secure significant projects that allow us to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. Our success is built on the quality of our people, and we are now looking for a high-calibre engineer to join our growing team.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver electrical building services design across a wide range of sectors

  • Prepare contract documentation, specifications, and schedules

  • Coordinate design work with other members of the multidisciplinary project team

  • Ensure all designs and technical documentation are produced to the highest quality standards

  • Compile technical and project reports

  • Undertake concept and feasibility design studies, including supporting reports

  • Mentor and support the development of graduate engineers within the team

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, working towards chartered status
  • Experience mostly of which will have been gained in design within a consultancy environment
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Experience in small to medium-sized projects
  • Revit proficient
  • Be familiar with BIM standards and BIM project delivery
