Job Description

The R2R Manager - Intercompany will manage and oversee the processes assigned across all regions.  The role will be overseeing the processes and sub-processes with a team that does variety of work supporting the completion of Finance activities in compliance with the Finance timetable.  The role will be driving strategic Finance Transformation initiatives and continuous improvements as well as managing the appropriate metrics to ensure the right level of service delivery 

  • Accountable for establishing goals and objectives of the team and providing proper level of support to ensure achievement of set goals and objectives.
  • Recommends process improvements and efficiency initiatives for continuous improvement
  • Works with the GPO, Head of Finance Services other key stakeholders to ensure delivery of required service levels and the necessary operational improvements are executed
  • Drives and plans for strategic Finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvements to contribute further to value-add to the business
  • Oversees processes and develops plans to ensure timely and accurate completion of services within remit in accordance with GAAP
  • Recommends cross-functional and cross-regional process alignment and standardizations within functional accountability
  • Recommends and develops controls and procedures so team will adhere to all Sarbanes-Oxley, internal policies, audit procedures and regulations to ensure fully compliance with established control points
  • Manages and acts as escalation point for complex accounting issues within the team and makes the right decisions as necessary
  • Accountable for the team’s business continuity implementation and execution and input to strategy
  • Plans and develops multiple short to medium term projects and contribute to long term initiatives planning. Leads moderate to complex projects as required by the business.
  • Actively manage talent (recruit and retain high caliber individuals) and build people capability including the strategies for the execution of goals and objectives
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationship by driving effective communications and developing effective stakeholder management plan

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA certification
  • 8+ years of experience in a medium or large size company, including GL managerial experience
  • In-depth experience in driving transformational and executing transformation programs
  • Deep knowledge of GA processes with strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to interpret Financial Statements
  • In-depth leadership experience in a shared service or captive set-up
  • Experience with large company ERP systems – i.e. Oracle, Blackline, etc
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
