Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Health Engineer (PHE) to lead and oversee public health engineering activities for large-scale aviation terminal building projects across Pan India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure projects, particularly airport terminal buildings, and will excel in managing complex designs, ensuring successful delivery while meeting quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of public health engineering systems for airport terminal buildings, including water supply, drainage, sewage treatment, stormwater management, and rainwater harvesting systems.
- Manage and coordinate PHE engineering activities across all project phases, from concept to commissioning.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure PHE systems are installed as per design and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning phases.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
- Incorporate sustainable design practices into PHE systems, including water conservation and recycling strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and innovations in public health engineering for airport terminals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding PHE matters.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports for clients and project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in public health engineering, with at least 5 years in airport terminal building projects or similar large-scale infrastructure projects
Additional Information
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other PHE design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
