Job Description
Due to some recent project wins, we are looking for a Senior ICT & Security Engineer to join our diverse Consulting & Technology team. This opportunity will work on a variety of projects including defence, health, education, sports infrastructure, aviation and justice.
This role can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Deliver technical design and documentation of ICT and Security systems ranging from structured cabling systems, active networks, WLAN, IPTV, audio-visual systems, video conferencing, CCTV, electronic access control, intruder alarm, intercom, perimeter intrusion detection and Type 1A security alarm systems.
- Work collaboratively with a national team across the full project lifecycle including project costing, client engagement, contractor management and bids / tenders.
- Use your multi-disciplinary project experience and communication skills to mentor and guide junior engineers in the business on a variety of projects.
- Liaise with clients on site investigations and providing them with cost effective, technically sound solutions on their projects.
Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:
- Relevant Engineering Qualification in Electrical, ICT, Telecommunication or related degree alongside holding (or being eligible to obtain) Professional Engineering Registration and State Security Licence
- Excellent technical and project delivery skills with a proven ability to coordinate and liaise effectively with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering ICT and Security design and consultancy services within a building's environment.
- Ideally, 5+ years’ experience working for a consultancy (or client-side) with excellent knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards.
- A demonstrated passion for consulting with the ability to work with technical engineers and non-technical project stakeholders.
Please note, due to the nature of the projects, Australian Citizenship is required alongside current (or the ability to obtain) Defence clearance.
