Job Description
As a Senior Process Specialist / Business Analyst – Operational AI, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. You are a systems thinker who thrives on transforming complex business needs into clear, actionable plans — and you’re not afraid to get technical. You’ll serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that our operational systems and AI-driven solutions are designed for scalability, efficiency, and growth.
You’ll play a critical role in documenting how our business runs today, defining how it should run tomorrow, and partnering across teams to make that future a reality.
What You’ll Do
Process Analysis & Optimization
- Document as-is and to-be processes, capturing decisions, data requirements, exception paths, and dependencies.
- Identify inefficiencies, design optimized workflows, and define future-state processes that scale with the business.
- Maintain structured process documentation and centralized knowledge repositories.
Business Requirements & Systems Design
- Capture requirements, business rules, SLAs, and value-sizing inputs for new systems and process improvements.
- Author and maintain detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and ensure traceability through delivery.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design system integrations, define API logic, and document data flows.
AI Enablement & Intelligent Workflows
- Partner with architects and product managers to operationalize AI insights — designing workflows that automate decision-making, classify customer or business requests, and enhance proactive service delivery.
- Ensure systems are configured to leverage AI effectively, supporting intelligent automation across operational functions.
Testing, Validation & Change Management
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through scenario planning, validation steps, and issue tracking.
- Assist with change management, stakeholder communications, and end-user adoption.
- Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that guide teams through process changes and system enhancements.
Data-Driven Insight & Continuous Improvement
- Use data to analyze process performance, identify trends, and support recommendations for improvement.
- Build business cases for new initiatives using measurable outcomes and operational insights.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in business analysis or process mapping roles.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with BPMN tools and Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, written communication, and analytical thinking.
- Equally strategic and hands-on — able to connect the dots between business goals, systems design, and operational excellence.
