Job Description

Within our Digital Services, our teams are dedicated to helping our clients navigate the digital era. Our experts work closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

As a Digital Data Analyst, you will report directly to the Lead Data Analyst. Your primary responsibility will be to create compelling data insights tailored to client requirements. You will collaborate closely with digital and engineering teams across our regional and global organisation, analysing data and presenting stories that answer key questions and promote further engagement. This role requires a data-native mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and find true value in data that others might overlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate ability and relevant qualifications in data analytics.
  • Work closely with Operations and Technical leads to ensure the delivery of project deliverables and all aspects of data visualisation and analytics within agreed timescales.
  • Apply basic knowledge and experience in extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to data.
  • Create basic dashboards in Power BI.
  • Produce solutions in accordance with current best practices and company standards.
  • Generate basic visual outputs in Geospatial Analytics Software (GIS).
  • Interpret and create metrics from large datasets.
  • Set up relational database tables, including but not limited to SQL Server and Dataverse.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks and implement data cleansing processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities for business improvement.
  • Assist in the development of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the creation of data-driven KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and present findings.

Qualifications

 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a data analyst role.
  • Degree and/or experience in data analytics, computer science, or other related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of dashboarding platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
  • Ability to tell a story from data from the ground up.
  • Ability to recognize the tangible benefits of applying data analytics to client problem statements.
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience and knowledge of basic coding languages including Python.
  • Experience and knowledge of using Geospatial Analytics Software (GIS).
  • Microsoft accreditation for PL-300 (Power BI) or other relevant certifications.
