Job Description
As a junior Project Manager you will be responsible to deliver end-to-end project services and for the operational delivery (safety, time, cost, quality) of one or more projects, including HSSE requirements, performance criteria/objectives together with all deliverables and financials.
You will be based in the Leuven office but site presence is required for the envisioned assignment.
You will be part of an international team, delivering project Management and Construction
Management from our Leuven office and the design from the UK office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe delivery and compliance with HSSE requirements;
- Take ownership for Contract Management and internal/external KPIs;
- Ensure Delivery of scope in line with AECOM Contract;
- Support in drafting the Project Execution Plan
- Support in Coordinating project’s stakeholders: management, client, designers, contractors, etc.;
- Information Management & Document Control;
- Update and issue risk register including mitigation measures;
- Review site works, measure quantities on site
- Review change orders from contractors
- Review monthly invoicing from contractors
- Compare estimation with benchmarks
- Check competitiveness of the budget
- Challenge schedule to improve project costs
- Present cost estimation to the client
- Handover cost estimation report and supporting documents to contractors
- Support in closing final account with the contractor
- Report to the project manager
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English
- Team Player
- Technical background in Construction. Knowledge in Mechanical, electrical and Plumbing is a plus
