Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager, to join our Urbanism + Planning team, based in Dubai. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the pre-contract phase of large-scale masterplanning, Landscape and Urban Planning projects, ensuring seamless coordination and successful project initiation to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pre-contract phase of masterplanning projects, from concept development to contract finalization
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
- Oversee the preparation of pre-contract documentation, including feasibility studies, design briefs, and tender documents
- Analyze and interpret complex data to inform decision-making and project strategy
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and sustainable development practices
- Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders
- Negotiate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Present project updates and recommendations to senior management and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on masterplanning / urban planning and landscape projects
- Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale development projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
- Expertise in masterplanning concepts, techniques, and pre-contract documentation
