Job Description

The Senior Construction Project Manager will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that are fundamental to the success of our courthouse construction project. These responsibilities include:

  1. Providing comprehensive management and administration of the project, including the establishment of project-specific objectives and policies that align with our organizational goals and legal requirements.
  2. Offering authoritative technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, ensuring strict adherence to company and project policies throughout all phases of construction.
  3. Maintaining a professional and effective interface with the client, serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters and ensuring clear communication channels are maintained at all times.
  4. Overseeing all facets of the project to guarantee that construction proceeds in strict accordance with the approved design, budget, and schedule through the diligent supervision of subordinate managers and supervisors.
  5. Assuming significant profit and loss responsibility for the assigned construction project, requiring astute financial management and strategic decision-making skills.

The successful candidate must possess a deep understanding of state courthouse construction or other state construction projects, demonstrate proficiency in SharePoint, and exhibit exceptional cost and schedule control expertise. This position demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex, high-stakes construction projects in a legal environment.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and six (6) years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred requirements:

1. State courthouse experience or other state construction projects.

2. SharePoint experience

3. Cost and schedule control experience.
