The Senior IM Specialist must assist and contribute to the establishment of system management concept with associated procedures to enable the effective management of LCSS by trained soldiers and provide subject matter expertise in system management in the evaluation and integration of proposed system management tools.

• Independently evaluate, develop, and integrate proposed system management or information technology infrastructure library tools within the accepted system management concept while developing the associated procedures, workflows, CONEMP, guides, and training material,
• Research and gather information from several sources such as specifications, notes, drawings, writing manuals, user guides, change requests, etc, in order to create new or update existing procedures, workflows, CONEMP, guides, and training material; and
• Review the above associated documents as created or updated by others and provide recommendation.

• Demonstrated Degree from a recognized university or community college in the sciences or a suitable engineering or technical field required
• Minimum 6 years experience in Information Architect in a minimum of 5 of this assessment area's criteria:

1. Client/Server architecture and related technologies;
2. Data architecture definition, framework and implementation for military systems; 
3. System Integration: hardware and software, (COTS and/or custom developed) components into new or existing systems;
4. Database architecture and system interfaces;
5. System life-cycle management.
6. Experience in business process improvement and knowledge of business intelligence tool-sets
7. Experience developing or working with architectural concepts, strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, architectural patterns, frameworks and principles
8. Training and support materiel;
9. Information management strategies and processes in support of change management activities
10. Database design.

• Minimum 8 years experience in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering.
• Minimum 6 years experience in each of this assessment area's criteria:

1. Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
2. Training plan with the ability to clearly communicate, in writing and orally;
3. Providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.
4. Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks or strategies; 
5. Communicate information flow and application interaction and integrations.

• Minimum 5 years experience as an Information Architect on Military Command and Control Software systems is an asset
