Job Description
Our client is a trusted partner in the German financial and banking sector, supporting a large-scale IT landscape used by thousands of users and powering business-critical applications. Operating in a highly regulated environment, the organization places a strong emphasis on governance, security, and operational excellence.
To further strengthen its SAP Finance capabilities, our client is looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to join an international team and contribute to the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of key financial processes.
As this is a newly established initiative, the role offers a unique opportunity to join the project at an early stage and make a tangible impact from day one.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- 5+ years of professional experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant;
- Solid understanding of accounting processes and SAP Finance best practices;
- Hands-on experience in SAP FI implementations, with participation in at least two end-to-end implementation or rollout projects;
- Proven experience in configuring and enhancing SAP FI solutions in close collaboration with business stakeholders;
- Good understanding of integrations between SAP FI and SAP SD, particularly in Order Management processes involving external service providers;
- Strong process mapping, business analysis, and requirements gathering capabilities;
- Experience in translating business requirements into SAP solutions and supporting their implementation;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and IT teams;
- Team-player mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach;
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-have
The following qualifications would be considered a strong advantage:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, migrations, or transformation projects;
- Knowledge of cross-functional processes and integrations with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, CO, or Treasury);
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance;
- Understanding of SAP Activate methodology and SAP best practices;
- Experience working in international and multicultural project environments.
