The Tracking team is part of the Marketing Technology team, which enables the online marketing of ABOUT YOU to manage over 30 marketing channels across multiple countries by automating the underlying processes and management of external marketing tools. We constantly monitor the correct setup by maintaining automated checks as well as real-time monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conception, implementation, and refactoring of the whole tracking setup
• Convert the client-side to a server-side setup
• Keeping the quality of the data up through Quality Assurance
• Building automated tests for our implementations
• Primary contact person for our Google Analytics 360 setup
• Maintain our client- and server-side Google Tag Manager setup
• Maintain our custom tracking solutions in GCP
• Build custom dashboards based on Google BigQuery e.g. with Looker Studio
• Driving force behind Web Analytics Projects in close collaboration with other departments, such as Online Marketing, Marketing Intelligence & Business Intelligence
• Oversee the creation and management of documentation for various use cases and decisions within the realm of "Consent"
• Initiate projects aimed at optimizing consent rates and developing innovative strategies to ensure compliance with legal regulations in the area of consent while facilitating the implementation of various business initiatives

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Tracking, primarily Google Analytics and the Google Tag Manager
• have practical skills in Javascript (TypeScript & Node) and SQL
• analytical mindset and a strong passion for a data-driven approach to solving problems
• have an awareness of quality and process-orientation
• be able to think in a problem-solving and creative manner
• possess entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• have very good written and spoken English skills
• show own initiative and responsibility / offer Ad-Hoc solutions
