Job Description

We are now looking for a Scrum Master to join our Product function to help define, implement, and monitor new Agile ways of working. Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. Ultimately, you’ll help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints. 

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with both technical and feature delivery teams. Yapily is growing and we are rapidly expanding, in this role, you will make a significant contribution to delivering solutions within a fast-paced and varied environment. 

Your responsibilities will include 

  • Lead the definition of Agile practices bespoke to the team

  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Create a robust scrum team that adhere to these Agile practices, increase efficiency and quality, and drive continuous improvement

  • Guide and coach the scrum team to become self-organising

  • Improve transparency within the team and 

  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur

  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Work with Product Owners in management of roadmaps and backlogs

  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Be instrumental in building an open, productive culture based on trust and respect

Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant experience in a Scrum Master role

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile approaches and workflow - Kanban, Scrum.

  • Familiarity with software development

  • Demonstrable skills and working knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment and transparency

  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including with technical teams, and both internal and external stakeholders

  • Scrum Master certification
