Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role will be working across all products in the xUnlocked portfolio. Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that engage, educate, and inspire our target audience of enterprise clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling content that drives brand awareness, generates leads, and supports customer engagement across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our core business objectives, target audience, and strategic marketing goals. Identify key themes, topics, and formats that resonate with our audience and align with our proposition.

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content assets, including blog posts, articles, case studies, infographics, videos and more. Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with our brand voice and messaging.

  • Content Distribution: Implement multi-channel distribution strategies to maximise the reach and impact of content across owned, earned, and paid channels. This includes website, social media, email marketing, industry publications, partner networks, and other relevant platforms.

  • SEO and Keyword Strategy: Optimise content for search engines by conducting keyword research, optimising metadata, and implementing on-page SEO best practices. Monitor keyword performance, analyse search trends, and iterate on content strategies to improve organic visibility and traffic.

  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Develop content assets and campaigns that drive lead generation and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. Work with product teams to create high value content, landing pages, email nurture sequences, and other conversion-focused tactics to capture and qualify leads effectively.

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement metrics, conversion rates, and lead quality. Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies, optimise campaign performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Content Governance and Brand Compliance: Establish content governance processes, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with brand messaging and style.

Qualifications

Must haves

  • 5+ years in a content marketing role

  • Deep understanding of SEO/SEM

  • Journalism, editorial, writing background

Nice to haves

  • Experience working in an Edtech, Sustainability, Finance, or a B2B learning environment

About you

  • Demonstrated track record of creating and delivering powerful, evocative content marketing strategies.

  • Experience delivering cross-channel content tailored to the prospect and customer experience.

  • Managed and designed a content calendar and cadence that captures attention and demonstrates expertise across all stages of the sales & marketing funnel

  • Expert knowledge of SEO, SEM and web analytics.

  • Experience with CRM software, marketing automation platforms, digital marketing tools and techniques.

  • Team player, comfortable working vertically and horizontally across the business.

  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with proven ability to derive insights from analytics.

  • Confident, presentable and able to represent xUnlocked as required.

  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, and able to tailor approaches to meet the needs of the business as it grows.

  • Not above getting involved doing the small or sometimes tedious tasks if they help keep the company on the path to success.

  • Empathetic and able to build solid and long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.

  • Passion for sustainability, Edtech and making a lasting impact on the world.
