  • Looking For: IT Support Technician - Level 2 position (Part-Time) (Canberra Dickson ACT)

The successful candidate will enjoy performing the following tasks on a daily basis:

  • Remote and onsite user support and assistance;
  • Daily systems maintenance and performance checks;
  • Backup checks and remediation;
  • Desktop device installation, configuration and support;
  • Liaison with 3rd party vendors; and Travelling to client sites to provide technical assistance.

In addition:

  • You must be an Australian Citizen
  • You must hold a valid Australian driver's license;
  • Have unrestricted access to your own vehicle; and
  • Some weekend and after hours work maybe required.

Qualifications

 

Skills and experience: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 IT Support role;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, and applications, networking, general software and hardware, and
  • Active Directory; Installation and configuration of PCs, thin clients, servers and network equipment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A strong customer focused approach;
  • A strong work ethic; A great team player; and
  • A positive "can do" attitude.
  • Diploma or higher level study in ICT recommended.
