Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Manager to join the team at the Burrell Collection.
Nestled within the beautiful surroundings of Pollok Country Park, The Burrell Collection is home to one of the finest art collections ever assembled by a single individual, with over 9,000 objects gifted by Sir William Burrell.
Our catering operation reflects the same sense of quality and experience. The Burrell Restaurant offers a range of fresh, seasonal dishes made using the finest Scottish ingredients, from hearty family favourites to lighter, healthy options and a dedicated children’s menu. In our café and espresso bar visitors can enjoy barista-made drinks, grab-and-go snacks and sweet treats, all designed to be enjoyed indoors or out on the terrace overlooking the park when the weather allows.
We Offer:
Rate: £32,000 per annum
Shifts: 5 days out of 7, including weekends
Contract: Full Time/ Permanent
About the role:
To supervise, manage and motivate the team
To make sure that the operation runs smoothly
To ensure the customers experience is always maintained to the highest standard
To continuously work towards improving sales and service
Supporting and managing the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training, and mentoring
Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained
The ideal candidate will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.
