Job Description

Responsibilities
Design and administer Snowflake databases, schemas, roles, warehouses and access controls for Knowledge Domains.
Automate provisioning, configuration and promotion through Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD.
Apply naming, security, governance, tagging and lifecycle standards.
Provide expert support, troubleshooting and guidance on Snowflake features.
Improve monitoring, performance, reliability and cost visibility.
Deliverables
Reusable target structure and naming standard for Knowledge Domains.
Automated provisioning templates and Terraform modules for databases, schemas, roles, warehouses, grants and tags.
CI/CD pipelines with validation, approval, deployment and rollback controls.
Role-based access-control matrix and implemented governance rules.
Monitoring and alerting for usage, failures, performance, security and credit consumption.
Operational runbooks for onboarding, deployment, support, incident handling and recovery.
Snowflake feature-support backlog, resolved technical requests and concise knowledge-base articles.
Technical handover documentation and knowledge-transfer sessions.
Skills and experience
5+ years in Snowflake administration, data platform or DevOps engineering.
Strong Snowflake, SQL, RBAC, performance and cost-management experience.
Hands-on Terraform, Git and CI/CD automation skills; Python or scripting is desirable.
Experience with cloud data platforms, observability, security and production support.
Soft skills

Cross-team collaboration and ability to work autonomously.
