Job Description

Role Overview

Wizikey is looking for an experienced and highly connected Senior Manager – Media Sales & Advertising Sales to drive revenue growth through sponsorships, advertising partnerships, branded content, webinars, events, newsletters, industry reports, and strategic alliances.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong network across CMOs, Marketing Heads, Brand Managers, PR Leaders, Corporate Communications teams, and media agencies, along with a proven track record of consistently delivering high-value advertising and sponsorship revenues.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Business Growth

  • Own and achieve annual revenue targets from advertising, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.

  • Drive sales across webinars, roundtables, industry reports, newsletters, branded content, podcasts, events, and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Identify new revenue opportunities and create scalable monetization strategies.

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop long-term relationships with advertisers, media agencies, PR agencies, marketing leaders, and enterprise decision-makers.

  • Create customized partnership solutions aligned with client marketing and brand objectives.

  • Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure profitable deal closures.

Client Acquisition & Account Management

  • Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure and account expansion.

  • Manage key enterprise accounts and develop long-term revenue opportunities.

  • Ensure excellent client experience and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with leadership, marketing, product, and customer success teams to maximize revenue opportunities.

  • Provide market insights and recommendations on emerging advertising trends and partnership models.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performance sales culture.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, media spending trends, and industry developments.

  • Identify new sectors, brands, and categories for business expansion.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.

  • MBA preferred.

  • 9–10 years of experience in Media Sales, Advertising Sales, Sponsorship Sales, Brand Partnerships, Digital Media Sales, or Integrated Marketing Solutions.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding annual revenue targets.

  • Strong network within advertising agencies, media agencies, enterprise marketing teams, and corporate communications functions.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, consultative selling, and relationship management skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure large and complex partnership deals.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from media houses, digital publishers, advertising agencies, marketing platforms, business publications, event companies, and content-led organizations are preferred.
