Job Description
Reporting to the Product Manager, the Product Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for product enhancements, new features, and customer-driven initiatives within the WinAir platform. This role bridges the gap between customers, internal stakeholders, and the development team by translating business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
The Product Analyst works closely with the Product Manager to support product roadmap execution, validate feature functionality, and ensure that solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements. In addition to core responsibilities, the Product Analyst may be required to perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the department and organization.
Responsibilities
Technical & Analytical Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements through customer interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions.
- Translate customer and stakeholder needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support the Product Manager in prioritizing backlog items based on business value and feasibility.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate new features and enhancements.
- Analyze product usage data to identify areas for improvement or feature adoption opportunities.
- Ensure all product documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date.
Collaboration Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Support team to understand recurring customer issues and integrate solutions into the product roadmap.
- Partner with Technical Services to ensure product changes are reflected in training and customer onboarding.
- Assist in preparing product release notes and customer communication for upcoming features.
- Present proposed solutions, enhancements, and delivered functionality to customers
- Support product adoption by answering customer questions and clarifying expected system behavior
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or related role.
- Experience in aviation, airline operations, or aerospace software or other highly compliant industries.
- Experience creating functional documentation, user stories, and process flows.
- Experience delivering customer training or documentation
Skills & Aptitudes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Stage-Gate product management methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Business-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-value solutions.
- Comfortable working directly with customers in a professional services or SaaS environment
