At Wellness Pointe, everyone will receive an exceptional quality of care. The center has expanded into a multifaceted clinic that offers obstetrics, pediatrics, general medicine, family planning, and dentistry. Some of the other services offered by our well qualified staff include education, intervention, and management of the many social issues that impact our community. The Optician will work directly with the Optometrist to provide optimal patient services by accurately measuring, fitting and adapting lenses and frames for patients according to written optical presecription or specification.  The Optician assists patients with selecting frames. They measure patients for size of eyeglasses and coordinate frames with facial and eye measurements and optical presecription.  The Optician prepares work orders for optical laboratories conatining instructions for grinding and mounting lenses in frames.  

High school diploma or equivalent.

One to two years related experience preferred

Knowledge and experience with optics, basic medical terminology and history taking.
