Job Description

The Practice Coordinator under the direction of the Practice Administrator will coordinate a wide variety of administrative functions.  This position will work with the Practice Administrator to grow and enhance the level of patient care throughout all service lines.  Additionally, will communicate appropriate staffing needs to support departmental services while ensuring efficiency, productivity, customer service and daily operations. 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associates degree or 3 years medical office experience in a leadership role
  • Requires a valid Texas Driver's License, appropriate driving record and auto liability insurance that meets the minimum required by State of Texas statute

  • Will work closely with the Compliance and Executive Team in order to ensure client service integrity, quality improvement and departmental regulatory compliance
  • Will represent assigned departments at appropriate meetings as required
  • Assists administrative support staff as needed while making sure the department meets productivity goals
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate supply levels for assigned departments
  • Responsible for tracking patient complaints and implementing appropriate actions as required
  • Will prepare and maintain various statistical data
  • Oversee the process for submitting and maintaining all regulatory documentation, medical documentation, and billing documentation for the departments
  • Responsible for overseeing timekeeping of clinical and dental support staff
  • Carries out other duties as assigned.
