This position will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and implementation of the Wellness Pointe - Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment program. Implements chemical dependency treatment activities; developing, revising and updating policies and procedures under grant direction; and coordinating the specific treatment programs for assigned clients. 

 Bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Science, related area or equivalency preferred
• Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor
• 3 to 5 years experience in group and individual SA Counseling in a non-profit setting. working with both adolescents and adults.
• Requires a valid Texas Driver's License, appropriate driving record and auto liability 
insurance that meets the minimum required by State of Texas statute.
• Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position. 

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the clients served 
• The individual must demonstrate the ability to assess data regarding the patient’s status and provide care per Wellness Pointe/DSHS requirements.
• Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. 
•The ability to work independently and effectively under pressure. 
• Proficient in MS Office Suite. 
• Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. 
• Superior organizational and problem solving skills
