Job Description
For our Private Label department located in Hilversum, we are looking for an ambitious Buying Assistant. This department is the creative breeding ground from which we create, develop and buy the collections for ladies fashion labels of Anytime, Ruby, Great Looks, Imagine and of course Miljuschka x Wehkamp.
This "start-up" is growing like crazy. We are ambitious. We believe we are at the beginning of something big. To realise our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for an equally ambitious Assistant Buyer.
You are an intrical part of the buying process (Design / Buying / Production / Merchandising). You support the (Senior) Buyers where necessary and work together with your colleagues from Merchandise Planning, Styling, Quality Control and marketing. On the one hand, you are in the middle of the lively product development process and critical path management You are also fully involved in the challenges of e-commerce. To say this position is dynamic is an understatement.
For instance, you are jointly responsible for an on-trend offer and the development of the seasonal range; you have daily contact with suppliers and other external partners abroad; you take care of and monitor the administration around the purchasing process; you prepare weekly sales analyses and make recommendations for different products based on their performance. You work closely with our marketing team to ensure the right products are
promoted and seen by our customers And so much more......
Qualifications
We think this is important:
You have a passion for fashion and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have completed a bachelor's degree with a specializing in fashion with minimun 3+ years of experience in a similar function.
You are available full-time and able to work on our creative location in Hilversum. You are confident, you communicate easily and have an excellent command of the English language, both in terms of speaking and writing. You have excellent fashion trend knowledge of the European and Dutch market and are a commercial thinker. We are incredibly ambitious and expect you to be as well.
