With over 100 tech colleagues we work on offering a relevant assortment at the right time. For this we use many technologies, like microservices in containers and function as a service. We also collect a load of data that we use to train our machine learning algorithms. The good news is: we’re hiring!

We are looking for a strategic Head of Product (Directors role). You will manage the Product Team responsible for the shop, website and app (basically everything the customer experiences, except for the items we feature). The Product Team is the connection between the customer and the technical specialists who built the shop. The team takes customer inputs, market developments and a fair dose of creativity to design the optimal architecture of the shop.

This key, strategic role is crucial in both forming and shaping Wehkamp Retail Group digital strategy and then delivering the strategic goals of the business through a team of Product Owners working with WRG’s world class Tech Hub.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and inspire the team;
• Responsible for the entire overall product strategy of Wehkamp (entire shop on web and app);
• Build the product roadmap and agree prioritization across the organization;
• Strengthen the organizational product capability;
• Disrupt & challenge our current ways of thinking and operating;
• Be fully up-to-date on leading technologies and lead innovation at Wehkamp Retail Group;
• Work very closely with the Tech Hub to deliver the product roadmap.

You:

• have passion for creating strategy and delivering business value;
• have experience of working at C-level within a retail or similar business is key;
• have the ability to form and influence products that customers love and that makes the business more efficient;
• are An excellent leader;
• have the gravitas required to operate at board level on a daily basis.
