Job Description

Job Title: Senior Account Executive, Media (Contract, Short-Term Coverage)
Location: Remote – Eastern/Central time zones preferred
Duration: 2 month with potential adjustment as needed, to begin mid-late September
Rate: $55/hr
Hours: 30-40 hrs/week

Our client is looking for a Senior Account Executive to provide immediate support during a period of high growth and expanded client scope. This role will focus on tactical execution, client support, and cross-team coordination to ensure flawless delivery of shopper and retail marketing programs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support client programs in branding, digital, social, PR, influencer, and shopper/retail spaces
  • Manage tactical elements including creative briefs, RFPs (e.g., Walmart Connect), vendor follow-ups, and contract/buy authorizations
  • Organize client-approved campaign plans and translate them into presentation-ready materials
  • Act as a key liaison across internal teams, clients, and vendor partners to ensure deliverables are executed with excellence
  • Communicate with clients primarily via email for program approvals and updates
  • Navigate a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with accuracy, attention to detail, and a “get it done” attitude

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4–8 years of experience in account management, media planning/buying, or agency roles
  • Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Clear, confident communicator and collaborator across internal teams, clients, and vendors
  • Self-starter who can trust their gut and take initiative with limited guidance
  • Agency background strongly preferred; retail/shopper experience a plus but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
