About the Role:

Our client is seeking a senior-level CRM and lifecycle marketing leader to backfill for an upcoming parental leave and recent team changes. This is a strategic leadership position requiring someone with the experience and confidence to own the organization’s CRM strategy during a peak season while collaborating cross-functionally across a matrixed organization without peer-level guidance.

The ideal candidate will serve as both a stabilizing force and strategic operator, ensuring the CRM roadmap is executed successfully while also navigating internal dynamics and championing CRM priorities at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic CRM Leadership

  • Own and steward CRM strategy across holiday and early 2026 planning cycles

  • Shadow current CRM leader prior to leave and ensure smooth transition

  • Guide journey planning, testing, segmentation, and performance optimization

Agency Management

  • Be the primary CRM contact during creative and technical audits

  • Drive prioritization of agency recommendations with CDP Product Owners (DTX & IT)

  • Review agency burndown reports and align staffing to quarterly plans

  • Ensure implementation of new agency processes (e.g. Campaign Request Forms, Template Library)

Team Leadership & Day-to-Day CRM Oversight

  • Directly manage 2 CRM leads with oversight of 2 indirect team members supporting translation and deployment

  • Review and advise on campaign planning, creative, and reporting dashboards

  • Ensure delivery on campaign requests from regional teams and business units

  • Lead CRM discussions on segmentation, journey management, suppression, opt-ins, and platform optimization

  • Collaborate with IT to deliver complex CRM initiatives and explore automation opportunities

  • Ensure execution of holiday campaigns per plan, resolving content/resource gaps as needed

Executive & Leadership Reporting

  • Collaborate with agency, platform, and IT partners to deliver QBRs and CRM performance updates

  • Provide ongoing reporting and insights to the leadership team

Planning & Innovation

  • Partner with platform teams to scale SMS marketing and pilot agentic or AI-enabled solutions

  • Contribute to FY26 planning focused on revenue growth, efficiency, and platform enablement

  • Help connect data-driven personalization strategies across CRM, paid, and web channels

Website Content Marketing Oversight

  • Manage 2 direct reports responsible for promotional campaigns, product launches, and content updates across owned websites

  • Align CRM and content teams to build integrated campaigns across email, SMS, and web

  • Contribute to strategic planning for website migration and unified brand experience

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in CRM, lifecycle, or digital marketing leadership roles

  • Experience with global consumer and e-commerce marketing, including high-volume seasonal cycles

  • Proven success navigating matrixed orgs and managing global content and translation workflows

  • Strategic fluency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud (not hands-on execution)

  • Expertise in agency management and multi-channel planning

  • Track record of managing high-performing teams across CRM and content functions

  • Excellent communication, influence, and executive stakeholder management skills

  • Strong grasp of data-powered personalization and cross-channel integration

  • Clear thinker with calm authority—comfortable driving results independently
