You will enable services that help children to study after dark, small stores to stay open longer, and fishermen to improve the size of their catch at night. Our service consists of custom-built third party hardware, in-house systems and third party APIs.
Job Description
As an IT Manager, you will help steer, develop, and maintain the infrastructure and processes underlying our day-to-day operations. You will also help shape our future by introducing new IT capabilities to WASSHA.
This particular role will have a heavy focus on project and stakeholder management. Specifically, you will be expected to lead a project to onboard WASSHA onto an ERP solution. You will also be expected to improve compliance related capabilities by introducing standard corporate IT elements such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), MDM, ITSM, Knowledge Management and IT cost controls and accountability.
The role will also require you to perform hiring of IT and help desk staff, and coordination with contractors for managing IT resources in our operating countries.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in IT management, with an emphasis on experience in any of the following:
- Managing migrations of in-house system to ERP solutions.
- Managing global IT operations across multiple offices.
- Great project and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written.
- Very good Japanese communication skills, spoken and written.

- Swahili, French, Portuguese would net you bonus points, as our customer base is located in countries using these languages.
