Who are we?
Wabtec Corporation, in partnership with Super Metal, is seeking an intern to join the Human Resources team. This opportunity offers a generalist development experience, with exposure to key HR processes such as Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, and participation in multifunctional projects, as well as productivity methodologies.
Who will you be working with?
You will work with the Human Resources team, supporting different HR fronts and collaborating with employees, leaders, and cross-functional teams.
How will you make a difference?
As an HR Intern, you will support the Human Resources department in operational and strategic activities, contributing to the effectiveness of HR processes and employee experience. You will assist in recruitment initiatives, employee support, and development programs, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role will report to the HR team and will provide exposure to multiple HR disciplines, contributing to your professional growth.
What do we want to know about you?
- Currently pursuing a degree in Administration or Psychology, with graduation expected at least 1.5 to 2 years after the internship start date
- Intermediate English level
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
What will your typical day look like?
- Support the Recruitment & Selection process
- Support Compensation & Benefits and Job & Salary processes
- Provide support in employee services and daily HR inquiries
- Assist in managing and tracking interns and apprentices
- Support Training & Development processes
- Participate in multifunctional projects and productivity initiatives
