We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.
Job Description
Vuori is one of the fastest-growing apparel brands in the world, and the way we plan and allocate product has to keep pace. We're looking for a Product Manager to own the day-to-day requirements, delivery, and adoption of our merchandise planning and allocation capabilities — spanning pre-season and in-season planning, top-down and bottom-up, and how inventory flows to our stores and distribution centers. You'll be the connective tissue between planners, merchandisers, and the technical teams and delivery partners who build and support the systems they rely on, and you'll report to our Director, Product & Capability as part of a small, growing product team. This is a role for someone who is as comfortable leading a planner working session as they are in a technical requirements review.
What you'll get to do:
- Translate planner and merchandising feedback into clear, documented requirements and a prioritized backlog for technical and delivery teams; own functional specs for planning and allocation features, including forecast views, buy quantification, and allocation rules.
- Partner with the Director to shape the product roadmap and represent the planner and allocator point of view in prioritization discussions.
- Run recurring syncs with implementation and delivery partners — tracking progress, surfacing blockers, and driving design decisions to closure — and coordinate with the development team on build, testing, and release.
- Own day-to-day administration of the planning platform (workspace access, SSO, model builder coordination) and the allocation system feed.
- Resolve data-availability and data-scoping questions in partnership with Data Engineering.
- Lead the recurring cadence that keeps planning, allocation, technology, and delivery partners aligned on refresh cycles and reporting changes.
- Facilitate working sessions with planners and allocators to review outputs, gather feedback, and identify gaps.
- Own the Open-to-Buy (OTB) project plan and lead OTB review sessions, and maintain documentation of planning and allocation methodology for internal and partner reference.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience preferred.
- 4+ years in product management, business analysis, or systems implementation supporting retail merchandise planning and/or allocation.
- Hands-on experience with a planning platform (e.g., Anaplan) or allocation system — comfortable working directly in the tool, not just around it. Experience with Impact Analytics, InventorySmart, or a comparable allocation platform is a plus.
- Strong requirements-writing and documentation skills, with experience translating business needs for technical audiences.
- Experience managing delivery with external implementation partners or vendors.
- Working knowledge of retail merchandise planning concepts (OTB, top-down/bottom-up planning, assortment) and allocation fundamentals.
- Comfortable with data — able to scope data requirements and have informed conversations with Data Engineering. Working knowledge of SQL a plus.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills; able to earn trust with both planners and technical teams.
