Position: Cloud Architect

Location: Memphis, TN, 38117-4906

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Must Have:

Technical Experience: 

·         Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS) 

·         .NET

·         API 

·         Various services for all cloud platforms 

·         Application Experience 

·         Application migration to various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce) 

·         Experience in all stages of the project: Analysis & discovery, planning, migration & implementation,               etc. 

·         Pros & Cons of 3 major cloud services that organizations can take advantage of: SAAS, PAAS,                      IAAS. 

·         Pros & Cons and best approaches for all 3 cloud delivery models: Public, Private, and Hybrid 

·         Proficiency on the Application vs the Infrastructure side 

·         Experience with .NET and Microsoft application migration 

Position Overview:

Our client is in the Analysis & Discovery phase.  This resource will be determining if moving to the cloud makes sense, including determining what can and should be moved to the cloud, or what services make sense for their organization

Project Overview:

Our client has 15 medium to large size applications that they maintain internally.  The goal is to migrate these apps to the cloud.  The cloud platform and services have not been decided on.  This resource will analyze the existing environment and create roadmaps, cloud strategy, evaluating potential cloud services and make recommendations based on the analysis.  This resource will be providing the roadmaps to next generation solutions.
