The corporate finance team is seeking a self-motivated accounting professional to build up the financial reporting function. The individual will interact directly with the Company’s chief financial officer and chief business officer to develop business plans for a fast-growing start-up. 

Responsibilities:

• Accounting for full balance sheet and income statement
• Assist with of monthly close journal entries, reconciliations and reporting
• Perform employee credit card expense reporting
• Process monthly payroll expense
• Prepare invoices for billing
• Monitor the Company’s equity compensation expense
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting
• Assist the CFO to set up internal controls to address business risks

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred 
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Someone who can execute well and flourish in an entrepreneurial environment
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to think critically and research ad-hoc accounting issues
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 
• Knowledge with Quickbooks or NetSuite a plus
