Job Description

The Operations Coordinator provides essential day‑to‑day support to keep operations running smoothly. The role acts as a key link between drivers, schedulers, customers, and the Operations Manager - Victoria and Sydney ensuring continuity, compliance, and strong service delivery.

  • Proven ability to support daily operations, records management, driver support and fleet operation
  • Ability to maintain accurate training, licencing, medical and operational records with high attention to detail
  • Willingness to step in across multiple operational areas, assist toolbox meetings and support drivers and schedulers as needed
  • Support Driver onboarding process through coordination of administrative and training tasks.
  • Customer liaison – Take overflow calls, assist customers, and process incoming orders
  • Support Toolbox meetings – Assist with toolbox meetings and operational communication with drivers
  • Training and Licensing Coordination – Manage driver training records database, licences and compliance requirements
  • Medical & Compliance Booking – Arrange medicals for existing drivers and ensure all mandatory checks are completed on time
  • Fleet servicing coordination – Book trucks for servicing, track maintenance needs and ensure vehicles and manage effectively

Qualifications

  • Strong operational skills with the ability to multi-task, a real problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across departments to senior management.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve organisational goals.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
  • Strong organisational skills, who understands hitting and meeting deadlines.
