Job Description

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a strategic finance partner with a view toward helping accelerate growth in this key area of growth for the company. You will work closely with business leaders, regional & corporate finance teams, marketing, sales and operations to understand business performance, ongoing risks, opportunities, and areas of investment to help accelerate growth.

Essential Functions:

Financial Management:

  • Drive coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis on both revenues and expenses. Examples of activities include traditional budgeting and forecasting, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, long-term growth forecasts, pricing analysis, monthly reporting, P&L generation and business planning support.
  • Understand business levers and recommend measures to improve financial results and business margins, while assessing financial risks and opportunities, and evaluating options to optimize return on investments.
  • Monitor Value-In-Kind (VIK) inventory on the Balance Sheet, Expiring VIK, VIK consumption and VIK in new deals. Become the resident expert in North America on all things VIK.
  • Stay on top of revenue and expense trends through analytics, and translate findings into succinct narratives for business executives with the aim of providing early signals on performance trends and actionable guidance to help drive desired business outcomes.

Strategic Business Partnership:

  • Establish strong partnerships with leaders of the various Advisory Services business and their respective Strategy & Ops teams to understand reporting needs, and providing solid finance support on revenues, expenses, and headcount.
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the strategic priorities and issues confronting the business, including understanding service and product offerings, market dynamics, and underlying drivers.
  • Build business cases to support investments, go-to-market strategies and new service offering launch.
  • Combine observed patterns and trends to craft accurate forecasts and be able to triangulate and exercise good judgement and deep business acumen.
  • Work closely with sales teams to understand pipelines for products and services, and evaluate penetration, pricing, and opportunities for growth.

Project Management:

  • Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness around business decision making.
  • Lead or support a wide variety of ad-hoc requests and special projects.
  • Provide decision support to senior finance leadership on investment / project decisions as well as strategic organizational and functional developments.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Influence and collaborate across key global and regional business partners and multi-functional stakeholders on a variety of deliverables and activities.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•Graduate, undergraduate degree and/or other Finance-related professionally recognized accreditations (e.g. CPA, CFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
•Progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance or experience in
strategy/management consulting, or investment banking
•Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, can-do attitude to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analysis
•Highly strategic thinker combined with a strong business acumen and ability to rapidly establish a broad and deep understanding of the payments business landscape
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to be able to “connect the dots” and approach issue resolution with a “forward-looking” view to anticipate and address problems
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written, oral, listening and presentational skills and ability to work well under pressure and interact at all levels as a thought-partner
•Capable of handling and prioritizing multiple tasks, possess good judgment
and organizational skills, able to work independently and collaborate as part of a cross-functional, regional and matrixed organization
•Experience with sophisticated financial systems (e.g., Oracle) or data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau), plus experience with building dashboards for self-service analytics

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 133,000.00 to 192,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
