Job Description

Business Group Overview:

Issuing Solutions is a business unit within Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) organization. Issuing Solutions, a key growth engine for VAS, aims to enable issuing clients (e.g. banks, FinTech’s, embedded finance participants etc.) to issue Visa credentials, process transactions and ultimately take advantage of the diverse suite of value-added services and products at Visa tailored specifically for issuers.

This role is based in San Francisco and will report to Director of Business Operations, Issuing Solutions, with high visibility from the Global Head of Issuing Solutions.

An integral part of the Strategy, Analytics, and Business Operations function, responsibilities include:

  • Drive continuous organizational alignment for the business and provide rigor and discipline to run an effective business operating model.

  • Drive delivery, consolidation and synthesis of critical information needed to maintain internal business operating rhythm (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), C-Suite level presentations, Board presentations, earnings calls, Town Halls, Employee Engagement, client presentations, etc.).

  • Partner with a number of cross-functional team members (e.g. Product, Sales, Technology, Client Services, Finance, HR) to help Issuing Solutions prepare for internal and external requests.

  • Manage the annual planning process for Issuing Solutions through coordination and strong communication across Issuing Solutions product lines, parent VAS organization and other Visa teams.

  • Define and develop key metrics (e.g. OKRs, KPIs) for the Issuing Solutions business scorecard and oversee ongoing tracking and reporting.

  • Help facilitate the funding process for key product initiatives.

  • Drive ad hoc analysis and due diligence to provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives (e.g. go-to-market strategies, revenue acceleration opportunities, scenario analyses, competitive intelligence).

  • Own deliverables related to the operating cadence of the Issuing Solutions organization and fulfill requests for data and materials from the parent VAS organization to drive alignment.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD)
  • Previous experience in financial services and/or payments industry.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing or time sensitive priorities, assignments, and roles.
  • Ability to influence without authority in a large cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated success in executing and delivering excellent results.
  • Self-starter who is curious, committed to ongoing learning while also being an agent for change in the organization.
  • Capable of handling complexity and ambiguity and adapt to evolving organizational requirements.
  • Natural collaborator, team oriented, diplomatic, and flexible, with demonstrated capacity to function in a matrixed organization that spans multiple geographies.
  • Solid skills in core business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and problem-solving skills and applying these strategically.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and adept at multi-tasking.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities that results in the ability to communicate effectively with and synthesize information for executive level audiences.
  • Willingness to take ownership of detail when producing written deliverables to executives.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 122,300.00 to 165,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
