Job Description

The Product & Implementation Consultant regularly reviews the Implementation methodology ensuring adaptation as our service offerings evolve while promoting continuous improvement. Responsibilities also include acting as the interface between the Partner Manager and the Product Owner and helping manage customer expectations around delivery timeframes. The Product and Implementation team has a strong understanding of the functional capabilities of the platform, as well as business context and drivers across the payment and expenses platform components. In this role, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on both the issuer and their system configuration to support customer requirements and scope. You will also provide platform implementation planning and creation of associated documentation, system configuration and testing, Customer training, planning and coordination of release management, and testing cycles with the partner. This is an individual contributor role responsible for solving complex problems and taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. This role serves as a technical/functional specialist and works independently.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 4 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD. Preferred Qualifications 7-10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD. Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with unwavering attention to detail. Payments experience preferred Visa Spend Clarity for Enterprise (formerly Visa IntelliLink Spend Management, or VISM) implementation/support experience preferred Consultative experience a plus Customer management/support experience. Strong Project Management skills. Business analysis experience in the context of software development. Able to lead and manage challenging stakeholder discussions. 3+ years of experience in leading customer service teams. Financial services preferred Implementation experience of SAAS solutions. Business experience in the areas of expense management, basic accounting, ERP implementations, purchase to pay and travel management preferred. PRINCE 2 or PMI certification. Experience with AGILE Scrum methodologies. Strong project planning, scheduling capabilities with a keen eye for a critical path. Solid understanding of supporting software-based solutions. Understanding of the business and commercial aspects of contract management. Excellent documentation and analysis skills. Proven experience dealing with senior decision makers. Thrives in challenging, fast paced, and dynamic environment.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,100.00 to 147,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
