Job Description

The Digital Platform Product & Solutions group is on the forefront of Visa's innovation and looking for talented individuals with vision, passion, and determination to make our clients business and consumer products more engaging, seamlessly available, easy to use and secure.

The Digital Product & Solutions Testing and Standards team at Visa manages the certification of third-party partners as well as the product aspects of Visa Ready program. We are looking for a Sr. Manager – Digital Manager of Visa Ready  to support the evolution of its secure digital payments. The focus will be on the certification of digital payment solutions and will support Visa Ready partner programs and Visa regions with solution approvals, and interact with colleagues in Cybersecurity, Product and Risk to establish requirements. 

Visa Ready helps the next generation of technology and enablement partners deliver certified solutions to the global payment ecosystem by providing a framework to streamline the qualification process.  The Visa Ready team is looking for a person who can learn quickly, and work in a team to provide evaluation program implementation and execution support. You will be involved in requirement development, and the assessment of new consumer payment solutions. Based on the dynamic nature of digital payments, this includes providing enhancement recommendations to ensure that the Visa Ready documentation is current.

Essential functions

  • Work with the Platform Products team to structure and manage the Visa Ready team’s certification and Solution Approval involvement across multiple programs including Visa Digital Enablement (VDEP) for card present solutions and Visa Digital Commerce Program (VDCP) for card-not-present solutions.
  • Ownership of the overall Visa Ready Tokenization programs including program documentation, reporting and portal presence.
  • Manage the Visa Ready partner portal administrator activities, ensure portal is in line with existing process and work with the Global Visa Ready team for future enhancements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert that can routinely brief key stakeholders on the Visa Ready process, including interactions with internal and external partners.
  • Continuously streamline and automate the Visa Ready certification process.
  • Provide situational awareness to appropriate personnel through clear and concise communications
  • Respond to and assist with due diligence and internal / external audit requests

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
• Project management experience
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a complex stakeholder management environment
• Ability to work independently in a faced-paced, complex environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience managing programs
• Basic knowledge of modern device, protocol and network security and encryption techniques and standards.
• Good understanding of control objectives, security evaluation goals, security assets, assurance levels, security requirements and test purpose.
• Basic experience with evaluating secure digital payments solutions, especially in the context of gathering and formulating security requirements,and interpreting security reports.
• Familiar with logical and physical security requirements and standards.
• Willingness to learn continuously new relevant techniques in consumer device and digital payment security.
• Must have good communication skills (written and verbal).
• The ideal candidate should hold, at minimum, a Technical B.A/B.S. degree or at least 5 years industry exposure.
