Product Manager: Global Ready Funds Product

We are seeking a manager for the Global Ready Funds team who can help drive critical growth initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.  The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, structured, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in how products are developed and delivered.  S/he enjoys variety and collaborating with people.  S/he is thoughtful, curious and analytical with a desire to make an impact.

Global Ready Funds encompass Visa Products that provide consumers the ability to access their existing funds:  ATM, Debit, and Prepaid.  This is a global role that will focus on the holistic opportunities that arise from the combination of the different ready fund products. This role will work with the existing product owners of ATM, Debit, and Prepaid as well as the regional counter parts globally.

The following are the key functions:

  • Global Go-to-market strategy/Commercialization: Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans, and prioritization models.  Create set plays on how Ready Funds responds and sells into markets depending on the proposed solution, use case, and client model.  Develop new Ready Funds client facing marketing, communication, and training materials
  • Ready Funds Product development and governance:  Capture internal and external partner feedback and provide insights to product and solution managers to include these points in the Ready Fund product roadmaps and business specifications. 
  • Strategic initiatives: Identify, quantify, and lead components of strategic global Ready Funds initiatives, including working directly with Global and Regional sales teams
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop a pricing strategy, methodology, and analytic models to support Ready Funds commercial objectives and opportunities
  • Reporting and analytical support:  Provide analytic support on key Ready Funds initiatives
  • Additionally, the incumbent will support:
    • Business planning – multi-year, annual operating plans, account-level plans
    • New opportunity identification and assessment (quantitative and qualitative)
    • Preparation of and participation in key client and executive presentations
    • Preparation for and co-ordination of cross-functional business reviews

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications 

• Undergraduate Degree required, graduate degree/MBA preferred

• 5 to 8 years payments experience preferred, payments experience required

• Creative, good communications and presentation skills

• Superior analytical skills with the ability to assess an opportunity's potential,
leveraging fact-based analysis and industry experience

• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, results drive, and flexible

• Good program/project management skills, ability to drive initiatives through to
completion

• Product management experience would be ideal

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
