Job Description

The Marketing Analyst, NA Client Marketing will support the development and execution of client marketing programs that leverage the use of Visa marketing platforms/initiatives (e,g., Tap to Pay, Mobile Payments) and sponsorship assets (i.e., NFL, Olympics, US Soccer, FIFA, Hudson Yards) in support of providing marketing solutions to meet Regional issuer business objectives.


The analyst is dedicated to supporting and developing partnership relationships with Visa’s Regional Issuer clients and helping to build best-in-class marketing programs that support business goals for both Visa and its clients. This position fills a key role in our expanded focus in growing client marketing efforts.


The analyst must have very strong project management skills and be detail oriented when preparing materials for clients and  must be able to thrive in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment. The analyst will be results-oriented, flexible, and have a 'can do', positive attitude. Additionally, the analyst must have a consistent track record in working collaboratively with internal team members and external clients.  


 Essential Functions

  • You will support the sell-in and execution of marketing programs for clients by coordinating the activities of internal Visa cross-functional teams and external agency partners
  • You will manage agency and cross-functional partners during client program development, including routing materials for review and securing stakeholder approvals
  • You will provide project management support for client marketing programs, including running weekly client status calls, drafting agendas and call notes, leading creative development process with the agency, routing creative and other content for necessary approvals, and managing post campaign tracking and analytics
  • You will work cross-functionally to maintain clear communications and secure internal stakeholder alignment on marketing deliverables
  • You will participate in ideation and development of custom marketing programs across Visa platforms, sponsorship assets and core marketing delivery
  • Development and routing of legal agreements
  • Purchase Order creation and management
  • Project timeline and budget management
  • Program tracking and results management.

 

Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of business experience, with the majority of your experience related to marketing and project management
  • 3-5 years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Marketing and project management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that include a high level of detail
  • Team player able to work on multi-part projects across teams and able to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
  • Ability and initiative to self-manage when necessary and ability to multitask to support multiple efforts as needed
  • Experience running meetings with internal and external customers and users
  • Positive relationship management skills and ability to influence decision makers both internally and externally
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Client-facing experience and ability to develop relationships is a plus
  • Digital marketing experience is a plus
  • Sales and business development experience is a plus

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
