Visa is seeking a banking and payments professional with experience in product innovation and a passion for sustainability, to join the Sustainability Solutions team. The successful candidate will work directly with the Sustainability Solutions Product lead, supporting with managing and shaping the function, working with clients to understand their needs, delivering on client needs, and supporting the selling of products.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the strategy of innovative product creation that supports Visa’s clients in offering sustainable living options for consumers and merchants, and supports clients more broadly in the transition to a Corporate Social Innovation model
  • Embed sustainability into Visa products and services
  • Lead on planning, tracking and reporting across the function, defining and driving OKRs and providing effective transparency to stakeholders up to executive level
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across internal Visa areas – including but not limited to: Products, Business Solutions, Consulting & Analytics, Acceptance, Communications and other government and merchant teams
  • Develop sustainable solution products portfolio and contribute to the build and management of a pipeline of sustainable solution products and client offerings, defining product strategy and use cases Leverage partnerships, experiments and collaborations to develop and scale innovations, working iteratively, and implementing lessons learned across markets
  • Drive towards sales targets, winning and retaining diverse range of clients across payments model and government landscape
  • Direct interactions with client and Account Executives to understand client needs and develop value propositions

 

Skills and Experience

  •  Awareness of and passion towards sustainability
  •  Knowledge and experience of the payments and/or banking industry
  • Knowledge and experience of payments product implementation, management and development
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective decision making and a passion for driving innovation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in successfully driving towards commercialization through identifying opportunities and developing products and solutions centred around client needs
  •  Experience in tracking deal pipelines and sales management for high impact and growth execution, preferably with experience using pipeline and deal management technologies / software for tracking and monitoring (e.g. Playbook / Salesforce)

  •  4 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or PhD


This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
