Job Description

A Senior Manager in North America Digital Product will play a critical role in bringing best-in-class digital products and solutions to the North America region that support a wide variety of Visa’s clients, including our merchant, issuing and processing partners. Reporting to the Head of US Digital Product, you will be responsible for go-to-market strategy and commercialization for digital product initiatives in the dynamic and ever-changing US market. You will support the crafting of an executable strategy for Visa’s digital products and capabilities to ensure that the solutions meet the needs of our diverse North American clients. You will develop localized product and go-to-market strategies, commercial constructs (i.e. pricing, contracting), planning prioritization and governance infrastructure, and drive large-scale cross-functional efforts, to successfully launch and bring Visa digital solutions to scale. You will also be responsible for utilizing your deep industry, market and product expertise, to proactively educate the Visa organization on developments in digital commerce, emerging themes and partnership opportunities.

As a member of the US Digital Product team, Visa’s North America Product leadership team will rely on you to keep a pulse on the ever-evolving market needs and trends of the complex North American digital commerce market. The role requires considerable cross-functional collaboration (engaging a wide variety of internal partners, including Global Product, Strategy,

Innovation & Strategic Partnerships, Pricing, Legal and Government Relations, along with clients, industry leading brands, and technology platform providers), superb project and client management skills, ability to operate proactively in a highly ambiguous environment, and flexibility to respond to marketplace events in a complex and evolving industry. We’re looking for a creative strategists who can pull insight and perspective from all players across the ecosystem to turn strategy into execution and take Visa’s digital capabilities to its next level.

Responsibilities

· Define market requirements for digital products and capabilities and provide feedback to global product teams

· Support and drive the digital product/digital commerce/CNP roadmap for the US market

· Work with global product to develop a localized view of products

· Evaluate product related regulatory and operational risks, adherence to Visa Rules, and IP considerations

· Develop client segmentation / targeting criteria and considerations

· Create and apply best practices to create commercial constructs, terms, agreements and pricing structures

· Commercialize and rollout bundled digital product solutions, to deliver even greater value for Visa’s clients

· Develop pilot framework and strategy, launch communications plan and execution framework

· Coordinate budgeting and incentives asks across solutions and product areas

· Orchestrate cross-functional coordination to execute pilots and formal product launches, as well as to accelerate product adoption

· Develop and disseminate materials to educate internal and external stakeholders on new product offerings

· Leverage learnings across product launches to develop a Go-To-Market Playbook

· Partner with the client solutions team for new products, pilot product introduction, exploration and interest

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required. 
• 8+ yrs. of product development, deployment or management consulting equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA from a top tier program

• Strategic thinker with superior analytical and problem solving skills

• High level of comfort with developing and delivering executive communications and storylines
• Strong commercial acumen; understands the economics of client’s business and how our products impact a client’s P&L as well as the commercial drivers of Visa’s business
• Excellent project management skills and experience exercising informal authority in a large cross-functional team environment
• Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) acumen and attention to detail
• Curious and inquisitive, with a strong desire to get beyond the “what” and into the “why”
• Proactive and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels
• Self-starter who is comfortable in highly ambiguous environments
• Collaborative spirit and a knack for understanding stakeholder needs
• Digital product experience (i.e. tokens, e-commerce, m-commerce, APIs)

Additional Information

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements

· This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
