Job Description

Further driving EMV 3-D Secure (3DS) adoption will be an immensely challenging and transformative global undertaking. As part of the Visa Secure Product group, you are the go-to-person for Visa Secure’s Digital Authentication Framework (DAF) features and functions, both internally and client-facing. Collaborate with CSS, IT and Sales to deliver effective Visa Secure DAF to the markets. Closely monitor issuer DAF rollout, merchant DAF deployment, competitor activities in the 3-D Secure space, and synthesize into recommendations and action plan.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Develop “subject matter expertise” on EMV 3DS specifications and Visa Secure program/features such as Digital Authentication Framework
  • Provide technical support and consultation to issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and 3-D Secure vendors
  • Define and execute Visa Secure features for the Digital Authentication Framework within Directory Server, VisaNet, and testing tools
  • Develop documentation for DAF related flows and product enhancements to ensure that requirements have the supporting details for solid product development execution.
  • Work closely with internal operations and testing groups to ensure successful and timely client product launch by providing input and expertise related to DAF
  • Close collaboration with multiple stakeholders including-sales, core product, client services, risk, and development
  • Monitor product performance with clients directly and data analysis

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems/Business required or equivalent technical experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Understanding of payment processing and VisaNet/payment ecosystem a plus
  • Ideally, MS/MBA or technical certifications
  • Must have a working knowledge of payments
  • Must have the ability and willingness to learn
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, demonstrating understanding of data and product performance
  • Extensive cross-functional team experience with demonstrated results required
  • Knowledge of EMV(Europay Mastercard Visa) specifications, specifically- EMV 3DS, and background 3DS 1.0

This position is open to locations in Arlington, VA and the Bay Area.
