Job Description

The Security Products team at Visa focuses on delivering the fraud detection and prevention solutions that enable every good transaction to be approved, every bad transaction to be declined, all with a seamless customer experience. Central to this strategy is the use of AI/ML models that are trained to detect fraud in the card payment ecosystem. Visa has pioneered these capabilities for over 25 years, and is continuing to evolve its capabilities to address the rapidly changing needs from today’s digital payment ecosystem.   

This Staff Product Manager role will focus on developing and implementing our commercialization (a.k.a. go-to-market) strategies across all security products and models. To enable a customer need-centric approach, she/he will create the foundational capabilities for internal business intelligence, client and frontline enablement tools, product documentation and collateral, integrated pricing analysis, and contribute thought leadership in outbound marketing campaigns.   

Essential Functions

  • Drive product adoption by partnering with regional teams to evangelize sales best practices. Enable and empower our business development teams by evolving our go-to-market toolkit.
  • Build and evolve Business Intelligence tools that will allow us to monitor and analyze product penetration, sales effectiveness and overall business performance
  • Own and drive go-to-market activities for all security models/products:
    • Define holistic commercialization strategies in partnership with the Security Product Management team
    • Propose and get approval for pricing from senior executives
    • Work with marketing team to define and execute marketing strategies and build marketing collaterals
    • Secure necessary approvals from legal, privacy and other partner teams
    • Ensure client, sales and operational readiness

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD or a history of delivering results that blow us away


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 4+ years of experience in product development/management
  • Experience with AI and ML technologies
  • Experience in consumer payments, risk, and enterprise/cyber security software
  • Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate out-of-the-box solutions and manage uncertainty
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to influence and instill confidence with stakeholders at all levels and in all functions/geographies
  • Analytical, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with fact-based consultative discipline
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and results driven, with proven success over a wide variety of functional business problems

This position may require occasional travel to client sites and Visa sites around the globe.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
