Job Description

We require a senior Oracle HCM Cloud payroll consultant to join our expanding Managed Services team. The consultant must have experience of at least two HCM Cloud projects as a functional expert. Experience of other Oracle HCM products (in particular, E-Business Suite) would be advantageous.

You will come up with design solutions, offer expertise and provide guidance to our clients on best practices for the successful delivery of the chosen solution as part of an ongoing Managed Service. You should be customer focussed with strong documentation skills and able to work independently and unsupervised.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day application support for a variety of clients.
  • Provide training and coaching for other colleagues
  • Assist in pre-sales activities via demos
  • Offer expert advice regarding Cloud processes, configuration options and roadmaps
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to clients regarding "leading practices" and the functionality of the software modules through as part of an ongoing Managed Service
  • Ability to effectively work with end-users remotely
  • Positive, dynamic, and flexible attitude, should be an excellent team player

Qualifications

Essential:

  • In depth knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, preferably with some prior exposure to Absence and Time & Labour modules
  • Minimum 6 – 8 years' experience of Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Full understanding of US payroll and absence legislation
  • Strong experience translating business requirements and design into functional solutions
  • Excellent spoken and written English language communication skills
  • Document solutions clearly and share knowledge freely with our Cloud community
  • Demonstrate self-initiative and ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Must be willing to work North American business hours (7 PM to 4 AM) shift pattern

Desirable: 

  • Knowledge of any of Absence, Time & Labour and Compensation modules
  • E-Business Suite HRMS knowledge, including payroll
  • ITIL process knowledge
  • Wider experience of HR processes from a business context
  • Oracle HCM Cloud certifications (in particular payroll) would be an advantage
