Sales Director
   Dubai
   English and French, OR English and Arabic languages needed.

Covering the middle East and Africa, your role will be to work in conjunction with the current Sales Director and be ultimately responsible for the role, implementing the Company’s Sales strategy and business development activities across the entire Middle East & Africa (MEA) region.
On a day to day basis, you will be leading the sales team of 10, to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for Products, Projects and Services business units, with emphasis on value selling of the VWTS technologies and solutions.
The role will be to secure and negotiate contracts with clients whilst ensuring clients’ satisfaction.
For this role, you will have a successful track record of managing sales teams and meeting / exceeding sales targets.

What are the day-to-day duties?

  • Be committed to and implement a culture of full adherence to EHS, Compliance
  • Achieve / exceed MEA’s sales and growth targets for each P&L (Products, Projects and Services)
  • Evaluate and manage the Sales team’s performance in order to meet objectives and maintain clients’ satisfaction
  • Coach, guide and develop the sales team to build and maintain a sustainable list of business opportunities and pipeline 
  • Plan regular opportunity review/rhythm calls for all three P&Ls (Products, Projects, Services) 
  • Prepare and present regular reports to regional and global management 
  • Prepare and implement sales and business development plans
  • Keep a record of progress and report to management accordingly
  • Develop strong professional and strategic relationship with key clients and end users at management level
  • Prepare reports on market dynamics, drivers and growth industries for each country and set target accounts in cooperation with the sales team
  • Maintain an active win / loss list with guidelines on market pricing  
  • Create a culture of customer centricity by building on best practices through value generation, industry and application knowledge and expertise along with humility and empathy for the clients
  • Support the sales team to identify, evaluate, prioritize and mitigate business risks.
  • Be actively involved in negotiating and closing profitable contracts with the clients in line with VWTS processes and guidelines in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

What background will you likely have?

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business
  • Demonstrable sales leadership and team management experience
  • Solid experience in business development of water/wastewater industry
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience working with senior client representatives, government officials
  • Ability to travel to meet customers and team members within the MEA region without any restrictions
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing) 
  • Fluent in either French or Arabic
