Job Description:

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills :

1. Good understanding of No-SQL Concepts (CAP Theorem), proposing solutions or use-cases for cassandra

2. Expert on Migration data from RDBMS to Cassandra

3. Expert on Cassandra Design Principles 

4. Should help or provide guidelines to Admin team for Performance Tuning

5. Experience work on Massive data set

6. Hands on Java 

7. Experience at technical lead level

8. Ability to communicate well with business as well as technical audience

9. Experience of working in Agile development

10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Roles and responsibility :

1. Cassandra DB implementation

2. DB/Data Migration

3. Performance Improvement

4. Cassandra-Java Integration / Service Creation & Implementation

5. Cassandra implementation in Cloud

6. Version Upgrades and DB Maintenance 

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills :

1. Experience in Cloud development (working with OneOps is a plus or other cloud webservices tool like AWS etc)

2. Worked in onsite offshore model

3. Flexibility in working hours 

Total experience in required skill (years) : 8-12 year of IT experience, min 4-6 years of relevant experience
