Position : Hadoop Developer / Lead

Location: Foster City, CA

Duration: Full Time 

Job Description :  

Mandatory Skills: 

Core Java - JDBC connection methods

Spring Frameworks (mainly Spring Batch and XD)

Big Data:

- MUST Experiences (min 1 yr) on Hadoop tools/technologies like Map Reduce, Hive, Pig, HDFC etc.

- Well understanding and preferably experience on Spark, Kafka, Storm, Flume etc.

- Good knowledge in NoSQL DB (Mongo, Hbase, Casandra etc)

- Defining job flows using Hadoop Scheduler, e.g. Oozie, Apache Falcon, Zookeeper etc.

DWH Application:

- Must have good concept in data management area such as ETL & data modeling

- Good SQL knowledge and experience in high performed query writing

- Must have minimum 2 production implementation experience

Role & Expectation:

• Be part of development team and work for production implementation of use cases

• Prepare design document and owning requirement understanding

• Innovation by exploring, investigating, recommending, benchmarking and implementing data centric technologies for the platform

• Being the technical and point person for the Big data ETL

• Provide timely and appropriate communication to business owners, stakeholders, and users on issue status and resolution.
