The role
We’re embarking on a major ERP transformation, a critical programme on our path to a new energy future.
As an ERP Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in Vector’s core business systems modernisation, working across complex, cross‑functional domains to improve processes, user experience and outcomes.
This role is central to shaping how change is designed and embedded through process design, requirements and solution delivery across a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment. You’ll bring people together across business units, breaking down silos and ensuring strong alignment between Digital and the wider business.
Sitting within Vector’s Business Analysis Practice, you’ll partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and implementation partners to translate complex requirements into clear, practical solutions that deliver real value.
This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced transformation environment, offering genuine scope to influence how Vector works today and how we operate into the future.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst who brings strong ERP experience, a collaborative mindset and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large‑scale ERP implementations or modernisation programmes, ideally within complex, enterprise environments. Utilities or asset‑intensive industry exposure is a distinct bonus.
- Strong, practical understanding of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or Microsoft Dynamics, and how platform capability translates into business value. ERP or BA certifications, such as SAP, Oracle, CBAP, CCBA or PMI‑PBA, are desirable.
- Experience working across multiple ERP domains, for example Finance, HR, Procurement, Assets or Inventory, with an end‑to‑end process mindset.
- Solid capability in business process analysis and design, including as‑is and to‑be modelling, using tools such as Signavio, Lucid, Visio or Bizagi.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders across complex environments, building trust with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Confidence facilitating workshops and driving alignment, helping unify diverse perspectives and move teams toward shared outcomes.
- Experience working across Agile and waterfall delivery environments, with exposure to design thinking or human‑centred design approaches considered an advantage.
- A customer‑focused mindset, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, practical and actionable outcomes.

- Customer. Customer. Customer. We’re guided by doing what’s right for customers.
- Own it. We say what we’re going to do and do it.
- Walk in others’ shoes. We appreciate the perspective of others.
- We, not me. We consider what’s in the interests of the wider organisation.
- Consider it. Done. We have the flexibility to adjust on the move.
